Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of HIGHHEED and its regulatory monitoring service. By starting a trial or using the service, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company to these terms.

HIGHHEED watches the regulatory sources relevant to your selected industries, flags new requirements and filing deadlines ahead of time, checks your policy documents against current requirements, and compiles compliance reports. The scope of what is watched depends on the rule packs and tier active on your account.

This is the most important thing to understand. HIGHHEED assists compliance monitoring. It does not provide legal advice and it does not replace a qualified professional.

• The engine surfaces changes, deadlines and gaps. It does not interpret ambiguous regulation or decide how your business should respond.
• Flags and reports are decision-support, not a legal determination that you are or are not compliant.
• Where a matter turns on judgment or carries real consequence, it should be reviewed by a suitably qualified person.

You remain responsible for your own compliance. The service is designed to make that responsibility far easier to meet - not to assume it on your behalf.

We work to keep monitoring accurate and coverage relevant, but regulatory sources change constantly and no monitoring system can guarantee that every change is captured instantly or without error. The illustrative examples shown on the website are representative patterns, not a live scan of current regulations. Coverage for a given industry or jurisdiction is defined by the rule pack active on your account.

• Provide accurate account information and keep your access credentials secure.
• Ensure you have the right to upload any policy documents you provide for adherence checks.
• Use the service for its intended purpose and not in a way that disrupts it or attempts to circumvent its limits.
• Apply your own review and judgment to the flags, deadlines and reports the service produces.

Trials let you evaluate the service before committing. Paid plans differ in the number of rule packs and the capabilities enabled, as set out on the pricing page. We may adjust features over time to improve the service, and where a change materially affects your use of it, we will aim to give reasonable notice.

To the extent permitted by law, HIGHHEED is provided on an "as is" basis, and we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the service as a substitute for professional judgment, from regulatory changes not captured, or from your own compliance decisions. This reflects the decision-support nature of the service described above.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached or where continued use would put the service or other users at risk. On termination, your data is handled as described in the privacy policy.
